Another Finish

I decided that it was time to finish this off, and did so yesterday. The design is Waxing Moons "Winter Grows On You", and is stitched on Silkweavers 32 ct Lugana in Poltergeist, using the recommended WDW and GAST threads. I really like it as I'm most definitely a winter person, can't stand the summer heat and humidity. I might have finished it a bit earlier if it hadn't been for a visit from the dreaded frog. In stitching the border I discovered that I had misplaced some letters in the word "winter". I really must check and double check everything as I go. Still once I had it unpicked it didn't take long to re-stitch it. So that's another of my 2007 goals completed. I don't know how having these goals is going to work out as I'm the sort of person who likes to stitch what I fancy and have picked up my Just Nan "Legacy" again. I was stitching this as a SAL with a friend but we abandoned it when she hit major problems with hers. I do hope she won't mind that I'm carrying on with mine though as I would really like to get some of my WIP's, or should that be UFO's finished, and I'm trying to be really good and not start anything new. I did make good progress last week on the third in a set of Delft Blue coasters that I'm stitching for my mother. ( One of my goals for this year.) No pictures of that yet though, as it's not worth it until it's finished, with it only being small. Thanks once again to all of you who read and comment on my blog.

Really cute finish Nicola. I'm like you. I'm a winter person and hate the heat in Summer. I am already dreading it as it's been hot enough for me this month!

This is sweet Nicola. Afraid I am definitely a summer person. Lol cant wait for it to warm up a bit more. Think I must be very nesh as the thick sweaters are only just going into hiding.
