Apologies and a Framing HD

Karen has left a comment on my previous post asking if things were ok with me. (Thank you for your concern Karen.) I'm afraid that the last three weeks haven't been very good for me at all, and I just have not felt like blogging or doing much stitching. My mother is currently undergoing tests to determine if she has breast cancer. She will be having a third biopsy tomorrow, but won't know the results until the 16th August. On a positive note the surgeon has said that the second biopsy results were better than the first and as yet has seen nothing to indicate that it is cancer. However, they are being extremely thorough which is, of course, a very good thing. So my apologies to all my blogging friends for me not being around much and leaving comments on your blogs. I'm trying to get back to normal but sometimes do have "down" days.
Now onto the framing HD. I got my Porcelain Nosegay back from the framers yesterday and I think he has made a really lovely job of it. It's going to hang in my lounge.
On the stitching front, I'm afraid I just haven't done much at all. Floralie has remained untouched for over a month now. I have been doing just a little bit on a UFO last week. This is one of Heritage Stitchcraft's Twilight series called "The Beach". I just wanted something very simple to do last week and this has very few colour changes in it. Sorry no photos as yet. I did fancy a treat and was tempted to buy a small Lanarte kit, but ever mindful of the fact that I'm on the wagon and also have more in my stash than I have wallspace for, I was good and treated myself to some L'Occitane body lotion instead!
Sorry for the lack of paragraphs, I don't know if it's me or if Blogger is playing up!

Good to see you back. I'm sorry to hear about your mum. We went through this last year with my mum and thankfully she was clear. Lets hope for the same results for your mum.
