Ruby Anniversary Card HD

You may remember that in my previous post I said that I'd been stitching a ruby anniversary card for my SIL. Well here is the finished card. Click the picture for a better view. The design is from an old issue of Mary Hickmott's Cross Stitch Gallery, issue no.5, Special Occasions. I stitched it on 32ct white DMC linen using DMC threads.

Now, are there any hardanger fans out there? If so, you may be interested in a new ONS that has just opened called Col's Creations selling the designs of a good friend of mine, Colette Robinson. There are charts for pillows, bellpulls, candle wraps, mats, and needlerolls, some of which also feature speciality stitches. I'd just like to wish Colette lots of luck with this new venture.

Many thanks for your comments about Mum. She continues to do well and we shall be going to see her again next Tuesday.

Hi

I can't see your photo but I think it's because Blogger is playing up. Good luck to your friend in her new venture!

I think it's really pretty. I've never made any cards, but I always think their beuatiful. I just have way too many projects on my plate. I'm a bit ADHD when it comes to stitching. I'm always starting something new.
