On a Roll

Violet Bouquet Needleroll by The Sweetheart Tree

I did it! I finished my very first needleroll today. It really was a lot easier than I thought it would be, and I know I'll be making more. If you've already stitched this design you may notice that the heart charm is not the stated cabouchon one, but a faceted heart. I didn't realise that I had the wrong type until I went to stitch it on. Nevertheless, I don't think it looks too bad. I've now kitted up LHN's Season of Hope to start tomorrow as a break from Garden Pleasures which I'm finding a tad hard going on the 32ct Permin linen. Seaon of Hope is going to be stitched on 28ct Jobelan.

Thanks for your lovely comments on my last post.

I think that is just stunning and the swarovski heart really sets it off even if it is supposedly the wrong type.

I hope my first attempt will match up to that.
