As the replacement fabric for the exchange did not arrive yesterday I decided to give Blackbird Designs "Their Song" an outing. I'd last worked on this in the middle of last September and actually didn't have very much left to do on it. I stitched on it for most of yesterday, finishing it up this afternoon. It really was a very enjoyable piece to stitch, and I have another BBD in my stash that I'm looking forward to stitching. Apologies for the slightly dark photo which is clickable for a better view.

I love this design, too! Isn't it great to "finish" a project but sometimes it's disappointing when it's done! Know what I mean???
Isn't it funny how we can work so hard to bring a project almost to completion and then tuck it away for months on end? Almost like we don't want to stop working on it. This is one of my favorite BBD's, too.
Wow that is absolutely gorgeous Nicola. I really wish I'd joined the LF club the year this was done as they were all so nice that year.
Lovely stitching and I love that BB design.. I have a BB chart on order but it seem they were out of stock I do wish they had said and I would have ordered it else where as I wanted to join a SAL on the BB yahoo group... pesk!
