Rotation? What Rotation?

A while ago I tried working to a four week rotation, and all went well for about a month. But what happened a few weeks back when it should have been the week for working on my Tulip Fields design? Well this happened, Prairie Schoolers Squirrel from their Fall Fields book no.159.You see, it suddenly dawned on me that I hadn't stitched a P.S. design  this year and I was starting to suffer withdrawal symptoms. It only took me about two and a half days to do and is stitched on Antique white 32ct Jobelan using the recommended DMC threads.

My rotation actually started to fall apart a couple of weeks earlier when I got so into stitching BBD's "When This You See", that I just didn't put it down. I mentioned before that I'd started it but hadn't shown you a photo. This is where it stands now. I'm using Edinburgh 32ct linen in cream and the recommended WDW's and GAST threads.

I'll leave you with a photo that Mr. L. took of the lovely vase of lilies that we picked from our garden a couple of weeks ago. The perfume from them was just wonderful and filled our lounge for several days.

Many thanks for visiting my blog and for all the lovely comments that you leave.

Nicola

I know what you mean about rotations, lol. Sometimes I create one in order to get back into the swing of things but then there is that one WIP that is so much fun to work on that I stick to it. Or I discover a chart that has to be stitched immediately, lol.
The little PS squirrel that came your way looks so pretty.

Wonderful stitching! LOL at how the squirrel happened to your rotation, LOL. I am the same way, I tried so hard to do one and stick with it, but I guess my teenage self comes out and doesn't like to be told what to work on. I say work on whatever makes you happy!

Rotations are kinda like New Year's resolutions with me - meant to be broken, lol! My rotation consists of whatever I feel like picking up on a particular day. Your stitching is lovely and those lilies are spectacular. :D

Rotations don't work for me either.... prefer to stitch on whatever takes my fancy. When the mojo isn't missing, that is. LOL
Love the squirrel & great going on the BBD piece. Those lilies look glorious. :0)

LOL I can't rotate I actually stress over too many WIPs! So I'm quite manogamous with my stitching.

Lovely WIPs!
