High Time for An Update

I might not have blogged since before Christmas but I have been stitching. I decided to resurrect an old UFO - Prairie Schoolers "December. I've added the brown tree plus the two red birds.

I also restarted my LHN Winter Wonderland SAL that I'm stitching with Chris. This time I'm using the recommended 28ct natural raw Cashel linen, and I have to say that it's stitching up much better.

Next is another SAL, this time with Siobhan. I'm working on Prairie Schooler's Spring Has Come foursome sampler from the back of the booklet.

I decided to do some baking this morning, and made these chocolate chip cookies. They are from Nigella Lawson's Kitchen cook book, a book that I've done several recipes from, all with success and these are no exception.

Many thanks for continuing to visit my blog and for the lovely comments that you leave. Until next time.

Nicola

Oooh, I love your PS December wip! The design reminds me so much of our trip to Lapland a couple of years ago and staying in a log cabin! I'm going to have to add this to my wish list lol.
Your other wips are lovely as well, and those cookies look scrummy!

Nicola,
Your stitching looks wonderful. I am glad to see all the progress you have made.

The cookies look very yummy. I made a pan of brownies this week and ate some and took the rest to Justine. We went to see The King's Speech on Thursday evening. It was a lot if fun. We went out to dinner before the show.

I will e mail you. It is great ton see a post from you.

Love all your WIPs Nicola but I do have a soft spot for winter projects! Love your PS Winter and the LHN. I stitched Winter Wonderland a few years ago and loved it.
