Well here at long last is a blog post from me. Before I start though I'd like to welcome my new followers and say thank you to all who left me a comment on my last, and long ago, post.
As the title says I have four WIP's to share with you. The first one is PS's "G" is for Garden. I have to say though that I don't seem to have worked as enthusiastically on this as I did on the previous Prairie Schooler.
Next is Hetty Child from The Sampler Company.
I mentioned in my last post that I had ordered a couple of charts by Homespun Elegance. So here is my start on Stitching Joy. I didn't have all the required threads so I'm using what I have in my stash. So far I've substituted Crescent Colours Used Brick with GAST ~Old brick and instead of the Wisper W63 I've used a hand dyed but for the life of me can't think which one.
My last WIP is Fa La La by Little House Needleworks. I've been wanting to stitch this for ages and have had it in my stash for some time. I joined the LHN stitching group on Facebook last week so thought it was time to make a start on it. I was joined by the frog however, I've put one stitch too many into the lamp post. I didn't notice it until I had stitched the greenery and really couldn't be bothered to pull it all out, and it's not really going to make any difference.
Now onto my finish. I showed this back in January this year when I had run out of the gold metallic thread. Although I did get some more thread eventually I've only recently got round to finishing it off.
Now I'm sure that most of you have seen this. The Patchwork Rabbit is, I think, going to be doing this on auto ship which I've decided to do, stitching each one as an ornament. It would look really great one one piece of fabric, but it would be huge and unwieldy, and I also don't have the wall space, hence the ornaments.
My son's wedding plans are all made, the hotel room is booked, so all we need to do now is wait for April 27th to come around. However, before that Mr. L. will be taking early retirement from his job with Network Rail. He has worked in the railway industry for thirty nine years and feels it's time for him to go. Officially his last day is 18th January next year, but taking in to account leave his actual last day will be his 60th birthday, January 3rd. So a big change for us next year.

It's always fun to see a new post from you and to have a look at what you are stitching. And I always love your WIPs as our tastes are so very similar.

Such lovely work. I especially love, love, love Hetty Child.
Good luck to your DH on his retirement plans.
Although I'd love to stitch them as one, space wise I will probably do Cohen as ornaments
