Chatelaine's Lavender Mandala
Here is my progress after two days on my Lavender Mandala. I'm afraid that the photo doesn't show the colour of the fabric too well. It's a beautiful pale blue. It's Silkweaver's Reflections 28ct in Blue Diamonds. It's a lovely design and I'm really enjoying stitching it, so much so that I know I'm going to want to do more of these mandala gardens. Unfortunately funds will not allow me to buy any more charts for quite a while, and anyway I'm not sure if I have the wall space for the big ones. (Of course I do have my Chatelaine Magnolias which I'll do after this.) Helen asked if I was taking part in the SAL that Sally, Julie and Lisa are doing, well no I'm not , it's just a coincidence. I've had this kitted up to do for a few weeks now, but other stitching meant that I couldn't start it until this week. I shan't be stitching on it today though as it's Chocolate Shoppe SAL day.

You have made a lovely start on this one Nicola. I have almost got my Taj Mahal completely kitted now and am longing to start it. I hope it is as enjoyable as you seem to be finding this one.

love the fabric, it looks really sparkly
Lovely start Nicola. I am quite addicted to this and looking forward to picking it up again this weekend. I'm waiting for Jayne to get the mini mandalas in stock. I ordered the chart from her a bit ago.
Its is so pretty Nicola! Love the colours....
