A Finish, Stash and a WIP

I had a small HD last week, Prairie Schoolers Auntumn Pin Keep from issue 20 of the Gift of Stitching. I stitched it on 32ct antique white Jobelan using the DMC colours as given. It was a really delightful design to stitch and I shall finish it into a pin keep next week when I'll have more time.

Royal Mail delivered last weeks Sew and So order to me the next day instead of it taking the normal two days. Shown here are the two Prairie Schooler charts that I mention in my last post and also Acorn Hill by Little House Needlework which I bought on Saturday at the bi-annual meet up at Nuneaton. It's one that was on my wish list and now all I have to get are the Crescent Colours to stitch it with. I've already started one of the PS Redwork Santas - on 32ct antique white Jobelan but over 1!! Am I mad? No, don't answer that. LOL I am needing to use my magnifier and my glasses though. I changed one of the colours, DMC3777, as I didn't think it was red enough so now I'm using DMC 815.

Lastly here is this weeks progress on Celtic Christmas. I didn't get as much done on her on Monday as I had intended to so I also stitched on her yesterday.

I have my parents arriving here very soon and stopping until Tuesday. Keith also has a few days off work so that we can take them out a bit, so I'm not going to be around much until after they've gone. I shall try to keep up with reading your blogs though.

The Autumn Pinkeep looks lovely Nicola. Isn't it gorgeous to stitch?

Love your new stash. I never seem to get stuff the next day if it's bene posted first class. God only knows why. I think Royal Mail think we are off the beaten track!

Winter is looking lovely.

Cute autumn finish, congrats. The PS designs are great and I agree that the DMC 815 will look great on the Santas. Celtic Christmas is moving along beautifully. Have a great visit with your parents.
