It's about time...

...I showed you something of what I've been doing since my last post. The week before last I decided that it was high time I got working on some UFO's again, so I got out Bourton-on-the-Water by Derwentwater Designs. I spent the week stitching on just this and got quite a bit done.

Next is my latest progress on "Their Song" by Blackbird Designs. This really is a joy to stitch on as it's a simple design so very relaxing. I'm sorry that the picture is a bit dark but the light had started to go when I took the picture this afternoon. Click on the photos for a better view.

I've also started stitching a biscornu. The chart is Alchemy Stitchcraft's "Tumbling Leaves" that I bought with a gift voucher that Claire sent me for my birthday. I'm stitching it with Threadworx "Squash" thread. I haven't, however, taken a photo yet as I'm part way through stitching it, will post one when it's finished. I also finished off my fob in the Hooked on Exchanging Scissor Fob exchange. I've posted it off to my partner but she won't get it for a few days, so no photo of that yet either. I've now signed up for the Biscornu exchange, and am looking forward to participating in that. I have plans too, to sign up for round 6 of the Fair and Square Exchange.

That's about it for now. Thank you all for reading my blog and thanks to those who leave much appreciated comments.

Lovely progress Nicola, well done :)

About the Nimble Thimble, there was a very small tea room there when I went, but it was shut! I don't know if it only opens during the summer?, but it's not far from a pub .. lol
