Prairie Schooler Obsession

I may not have been around Blogland much but I am still here, and still stitching. Yesterday I put the last stitches into Prairie Schooler's "R is for Rabbit". I've really enjoyed stitching this and actually worked a bit on it while away on holiday last month. I stitched it on 36ct Flax linen with the listed DMC threads.

Now, having finished my rabbit, and it being September, I really should have made a start on my Christmas stitching. So what did I start? Well this Prairie Schooler obsession is so great that I couldn't help myself and started on "G is for Garden". Again, I'm using 36ct Flax linen and DMC threads. I expect that I will do some Christmas stitching at some point, but don't hold your breath!

I have a done a little stash shopping, two Christmas ornament charts from Homespun Elegance, this company is new to me. However, as I'm getting them from Thread Bear, and they always have to order in from the U.S. it will be about three weeks before I have them in my hot sticky little mitts.

Before I go I must thank everyone for their comments on my last post and extend a warm welcome to my new followers.

Nicola

Really love this finish, Nicola! I stitched it, too, but still haven't framed it. I so love the colors in PS designs :)

Beautiful PS stitching. This designer is fabulous, so consistent. I always get the charts and I always go to them if I need a motif for something or an exchange stitching idea.
Have a great weekend!

Oh Nicola, I can so understand your obsession - there isn't a single PS chart I wouldn't like to stitch. Congratulations on finishing the rabbit. I have already stitched the garden one myself and it's a fun stitch just like any other PS chart.
